- NCS represents over 11,000 swimmers, coaches, and volunteers from the state’s USA Swimming clubs.
- NCS clubs offer over 200 meets throughout the year. Those meets cannot happen without the support of parent volunteers, just like you.
- Whether as an official, a timer, a hospitality worker or in one of the many other volunteer roles, swimming needs you!

- The officials at our meets are all unpaid volunteers interested in providing swimming opportunities for our young athletes.
- Clubs are always looking for parents who would like to become involved as a swimming official.
NCS VOLUNTEER AWARDS
The Volunteer of the Year Award is given to an outstanding volunteer in recognition of service to swimming. Recipients are selected by the Awards committee based on nominations submitted by clubs, coaches, parents, or athletes.
The Jack Lynch Award honors individuals for long-term service to clubs, the LSC, and the sport of swimming. The award, named for long-time NCS volunteer Thomas J. (Jack) Lynch, is awarded periodically by the awards committee.
