Regional Diversity Select Camp: NCS athletes

May 31, 2022 by Bill Martin

USA Swimming announced the names of the up-and-coming athletes selected for the Regional Diversity Select Camp. Among those named were two athletes from North Carolina Swimming clubs who will attend the 2022 Southern Regional Diversity Select Camp at the Florida Aquatics Swimming and Training facility, June 8-12. Congratulations to Angelina Lu (RSA) and Devin Whitlock (MOR).

To continue providing in-person opportunities for our athletes at the age-group level, these Zone-specific camps allow for a unique opportunity where the pool and classroom work alongside one another. The camp will consist of five in-water sessions and a number of classroom sessions. It will provide ignition, motivation and information for athletes to continue to set goals, work hard, excel in swimming and feel empowered to take ownership of their swimming carriers and roles within their community.
