Nine North Carolina Swimming clubs were named to the USA Swimming 2020 Club Excellence list. That is the second highest total of all LSCs in the country!
Now in its 20th year, the USA Swimming Club Excellence program identifies clubs that execute strong, well-rounded programs to produce elite 18-and-under athletes. The top-20 clubs earn Gold level ranking and those rated 21-100 are designated as Silver honorees. The next 100 clubs are recognized at the Bronze level
SwimMAC Carolina led NCS clubs and was the number two ranked club in the country to earn a Gold level ranking. The TAC Titans reached Gold level for the first time with a 12th place ranking. The Marlins of Raleigh were the third NCS club to earn a Gold level ranking. The Marlins of Raleigh were also recognized as a member of the Podium Club for achieving Gold level status for the fourth consecutive year.
NCS Clubs earning Silver level recognition included the Aquatic Club of Mecklenburg, Enfinity Aquatic Club, and the North Carolina Aquatic Club. Earning Bronze level rankings were the Hickory Foundation YMCA Seahorse Swim Team, New Wave Swimming, and Swim GSA.
