Kathleen Baker of North Carolina’s Team Elite had an incredible performance at the World Championships in Budapest. She won the silver medal in the women’s 100m backstroke with a time of 58.58, just off Missy Franklin’s American record of 58.33. It was a repeat of last year, when she won silver at the Olympic Games in Rio.
