How long have you been involved with North Carolina Swimming?
Fifteen years.
How did you become involved with North Carolina Swimming?
I initially became involved in NC Swimming as a meet director. When the youngest two of my five swimmers, Katie and Emily, turned ten I decided to become an official. I am currently a starter and it’s my favorite volunteer job.
What is one of your fondest swimming memories?
My fondest memory was watching my son, Ethan, win his first high school state championship, the 200 IM, from the best seat in the house, as an official! North Carolina Swimming has given my kids so much and I love giving back to the sport/organization, as an official!
