North Carolina Swimming clubs and area colleges were among teams from throughout the country competing at the 2018 USA Swimming Winter Nationals in Greensboro. There were outstanding performances from some of the sport’s most elite competitors. Olympic champions Katie Ledecky, Nathan Adrian, and Simone Manuel each earned wins at the event. North Carolina-based swimmers were paced by TAC’s Ashley Twichell who swam for the cycle with a first in the 1500m free, a second in the 800m free, and a third in the 400m free.
