The Triangle Aquatic Center has partnered with FloSports TV of Austin, TX to offer subscription services for the 2017 North Carolina Short Course Age Group Championship. Live streaming will be available for all sessions for the meet, February 23-26. This will be a true live broadcast so that those unable to attend the meet can watch their swimmers compete live via the web.
FloSports Swim Production team is headed by Clark Burckle, a 2012 Olympic swimmer. FloSports was founded in 2012, producing and broadcasting events for 22 sports. Age Group Champs will be FloSports first swim broadcast in North Carolina.
“Live streaming of our events is just a natural progression in the services offered by TAC,” according to Mark Frank, TAC’s Events & Marketing Director. “It is important for us to be able to offer our patron’s families, who are unable to attend an event at TAC, the opportunity to view their loved ones in action.”
Archived footage of the events will also be available to those subscribed. This may benefit coaches and swimmers who can review a race to improve future performance.
