Charlotte Area Officials Recognized for High School Support

North Carolina Swimming officials from the Charlotte area were recently recognized for their support of

this season’s North Carolina High School Athletic Association High School Swimming and Diving Meets.
Across the state, more than 200 NCS officials serve as meet directors, referees, starters, stroke and
turn judges, diving referees, and diving judges. In addition to their USA Swimming meets, they support
more than 400 local meets, conference championships, regionals and state finals. Officials are both USA
Swimming and NCHSAA certified.
The North Carolina high school swimming season continues with regional qualifiers in Huntersville,
Greensboro, and Cary, February 3 – 4 and will conclude with the NCHSAA State Championships,
February 9 – 11 at the Triangle Aquatic Center.
